Harpoon Kraken

The Harpoon Kraken is a massive undersea predator that resembles a giant squid or octopus. It receives its name from the end of its tentacles being shaped like pointed spears which it launches at its prey to pierce them, dragging them into its beak-like mouth. Harpoon Kraken prefer to dwell in deeper waters, only coming to the surface if food is scarce. They primarily feed on the carcasses of large animals that fall from the surface, but it is thought they evolved the shape of their tentacles to defend themselves against God-Beasts. Usually, a single pierce against a foe to make it bleed was enough to ward it off as the smell of blood would attract other predators as a distraction.

If they need to come to the surface, they tend to target either Godfish or whales, lying in ambush and attacking from below. Harpoon Kraken also have three large eyes which are positioned in a way to give them 360 degree vision, allowing them to not only carefully hunt but to also watch out for predators that may try to sneak up on it.
