Lady Stayla von LeVasseur of South Nomes, Countess of the Arklight Estate is the third mechanis. Her hometown was stricken by a plague that killed her family. On the verge of succumbing to the same illness, Stayla was turned into the third mechanis.

Stayla is of Franegalic descent, her family name originating from a mixed marriage between Leirian and Fraengalic nobles as a diplomatic gesture between the two nations.

Unlike the other Steel Sisters, Stayla has no prior combat experience. Part of the reason she was turned into a mechanis was a last ditch effort to save the LeVasseur family lineage. Before the plague, she was meant to be married off to another family to continue her family line. However, when the transfer into a mechanis body was a success, the emperor ordered that she become a soldier to ensure that the mechanis technology was being put to good use.

Appearance

Stayla has short blonde hair and blue eyes. She is roughly average height and slightly buxom.

Personality

Stayla is a bit naive and oblivious, but is very kind and empathetic to those around her. While initially extremely apprehensive about being forced into becoming a soldier, she eventually grew to appreciate it as it gave her a new perspective of the common people that, as a noble, she was originally meant to represent.
