The Hegaska are a species of avians native to Valordyn. They have the appearance of large vultures with long necks. Sometimes mistaken as animals, the Hegaska are an intelligent race that has their origins as roaming nomads.
History
In ancient times, it is thought that the Hegaska lived within a long lost sky civilization. The ancient city of Ouropoli has architecture heavily characteristic of Hegaska origin. Ever since the fall of this civilization, the Hegaska have since been scattered with no established civilization to call their own. Most have instead assimilated into other cultures.
During the Demon Wars, many Hegaska were employed as couriers or as traveling missionaries.
