The '''Notios''' are a small, bipedal mammalian race resembling desert shrews. They stand on average about three feet tall.

It is theorized they may have originally evolved in the [[Tepezi Desert]], though the earliest evidence of their society goes back to the centuries immediately following the [[War Between the Gods]] - cataclysmic event that turned the [[Leir]] region from an ocean into a desert. They settled the area in disparate tribes in the thousands of years before the God Statues were discovered in the area.

Over time, they assimilated into the [[Leir Empire]]. They are very commonly seen as merchants, wizards, mechanics and more. Notios soldiers are considered extremely rare due to being able to be very easily overpowered physically even by a child human.
