With her loyalty to her country still unwavering, she volunteered herself to be turned into a mechanis so that she could continue to serve and fight against the Heilinthar.
Vinda has ancestry in the city of Aegis in the Kronen Empire, being a descendant of a knight that fought during the Demon Wars. The Dorchester family was known to have aided in securing the ruins of Gammel after it was overrun by demons. After the war, Vinda's ancestor, Ventan Dorchester, was gifted a castle on Mt.
