Leir Imperial City

Leir Imperial City (sometimes just known as Imperial City) is a large city built out of stone along the side of Mt. Nerthus in the Leir region of Eidyn.

The city was destroyed during a chain reaction of the Aard'Vorn assembled in one place after the sorceress Emilia disrupted the ritual to stop Emperor Kindlus Potenka. The destruction of the capital led to the eventually collapse of the empire.

Architecture

Given how steep the mountain is, it is built along a series of intricate terraces interwoven with stair cases that connect the different levels. For ease of transport, a taxi service utilizing dragon mounts is available. The uppermost parts contain docks for the Leir Empire's collection of airships which are mostly intended for military purposes rather than civilian transport.

Points of interest

Imperial Palace

At the summit of Mt. Nerthus is the Imperial Palace, a highly guarded stronghold that is not only the residence of the emperor but also the location where the Worldstone is housed. The palace's entrance features two colossal stone statues depicting Almosan and Xealver, two importan figures in Leir's history.
