St. Klaas Priory

St. Klaas Priory is a Snow Elf monastery in Khyorgan. The local Snow Elfs are craftsmen that create clockwork toys that are delivered to children all around the world as an act of good will.

Culture

The monks of the priory honor the spirit of a dwarf named Klaas, who led a group of Snow Elves to the mountains. The dwarf taught them that good will and generosity to others it the key to happiness, and thus, they spend every year preparing to deliver gifts around the world on the night of the winter solstice alignment.

Klaas himself is a spirit of goodwill. Legend has it that he is capable of visiting every housing establishment on the planet in one night. Klaas has made it a personal goal to bring cheer and happiness to everyone even to those in grim circumstances.

It is said that during a war, Klaas famously stopped a battle from occurring just by gracing his presence. Both sides of the war chose not to fight one another and instead wished to share gifts and acts of kindness despite them being mortal enemies.
